Although it may not seem like it now, I feel very fortunate to have grown up in an era that had no shortage of great photographers from which to absorb technique as well as amazing innovations improving the experience of making a picture.
My experience, over some sixty years, includes formal training with the New York Institute of Photography, Allison College, as well as numerous courses and lectures from professional working photographers. I have been, and remain, a semi-professional since the early 1980s.
